Chucos Suaves," and "El Chicano." My brother Dan sang lead on "El
Chicano." The concert followed the screening of the documentary, "Lalo

UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center, University of
California, Riverside - (Palm Desert campus)- concert with a three piece
acoustic group for the gala for the Lalo Guerrero Film & Arts Festival, group
members were Mark Guerrero, Alex Armstrong, and Lorenzo Martinez.
Performed Mark Guerrero's "The Ballad of Lalo Guerrero" and "Pre-Columbian
Dream," as well as Lalo Guerrero's "El Corrido de Delano," "Los Chucos Suaves,"
"Tacos for Two," and "El Chicano." Also on the bill were pioneer Chicano
rockers, El Chicano. Mark played guitar and sang the co-lead vocal with El
Chicano on their hit version of "Brown Eyed Girl." The concert followed the screening of the
documentary, "Lalo Guerrero: The Original Chicano." (2007)

performed at the 7th Annual Cesar E. Chavez Awards Dinner with an acoustic trio.
Mark sang his song "The Ballad of Lalo Guerrero," and Lalo Guerrero's "El
Corrido de Delano" and "Los Chucos Suaves," backed by Alex Armstrong and Lorenzo
Martinez. The trio then backed Mark's brother Dan on Lalo Guerrero's "El
Chicano." Arnold Scwartzenegger received an award and spoke at the event.
