Mark Guerrero at the Don Tosti Tribute
Riviera Hotel
Palm Springs, California
October 3, 2004

The performances below were part of a tribute to Chicano music legend, Don Tosti (Edmundo Tostado), who had recently passed away.  Approximately three hundred people were in attendance at the event which took place at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, California.  Ry Cooder, on whose "Chavez Ravine" CD Don Tosti had appeared, came to play guitar and pay his respects.  I performed as did my dad, Lalo Guerrero, blues guitarist Kal David, along with many of the best musicians greater Palm Springs area had to offer.

Musicians:  Mark Guerrero (lead vocal, guitar), Manny Lopez (vibes), Gil Quesada (piano), Bill Siatta (upright bass), Bobby Dominguez (drums), and Ry Cooder (guitar)

Songs performed on videos below:
"Let the Good Times Roll" and "Los Chucos Suaves"

"Let the Good Times Roll"
words and music by Louis Jordan

"Los Chucos Suaves"
